FAQS
When should I RSVP by?
To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is May 12th 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a "no". It is important that our vendors and venues are aware of the total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the invite. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thanks for understanding.
Are children welcome?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, except for immediate family in the wedding party. If your children are invited, you’ll see their names on the invite!

Once Upon a Time...

It was the spring of 2021, a time when the world seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for better days. Amid the uncertainty, something beautiful began to bloom. Onkar and Shubneet matched on Hinge, both looking for connection in a world where such moments felt fleeting.
Their first conversations were virtual, cautious yet hopeful. With Covid still looming, Shubneet suggested they wait to meet in person. And so, for weeks, they did something rare: they talked. No distractions, no grand gestures—just words, stories, and laughter exchanged through screens. What began as simple conversations slowly unfolded into a deep and genuine friendship.
When they finally decided to meet in person, it already felt like they knew each other, though the idea of actually meeting still brought a few nerves. Shubneet, known for being fiercely protective of her kitchen, found herself hesitating at the thought of having a stranger over to cook with her. Onkar, too, found it a bit strange that Shubneet would invite him—a complete stranger—into her home. Later, of course, he would learn that she’s just a bit of a weirdo (in the best way possible). Yet, despite their initial reservations, curiosity won out.
On a cozy evening, Onkar arrived at Shubneet’s place, armed with two bottles of wine (Shubneet loves optionality), while Shubneet had steaks ready to grill. Together, they created their first meal, side by side in the kitchen, over playful banter and sharing stories that made the evening stretch into the night.
It was easy—surprisingly so. The kind of easy that feels like coming home after a long journey. There were no awkward pauses, no second-guessing. Just two people who had built a foundation on friendship, now discovering the possibility of something more.
From that first dinner, their story has been filled with countless meals, shared dreams, and endless laughter. What started as a virtual connection grew into a love they hadn’t even dared to hope for. And now, they’re ready to write the next chapter—together.
